We are now looking for two senior IT project managers for long-term consulting assignments within a business-critical IT transformation environment in the energy sector.

The assignments are placed within Customer IT and the Contract & Billing team, which is responsible for technical solutions and capability development (people, processes, technology, and data) related to billing, contracts, and CRM. The team works closely with the meter-to-cash process and customer channel teams to ensure an efficient and cohesive customer experience in the fossil-free transition.

One consultant will be responsible for two parallel projects, while the other role has a clearer focus on SAP-related initiatives.

Assignment description

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving and delivering strategically important IT projects in a complex operational and stakeholder environment. The role combines business transformation and technical delivery with high demands for structure, quality, and value creation.

Responsibilities

You will:

Lead IT projects of varying size and complexity within Customer IT

Plan and follow up on time, budget, and resources

Translate project goals into concrete activities and deliverables

Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams

Facilitate decision-making processes, even at senior management level

Ensure execution with a clear focus on value delivery

Work systematically with risk and dependency management

Conduct professional stakeholder management within both IT and business

Ensure regular and audience-adapted reporting

Maintain complete and updated project documentation

Use established project management methods and tools

Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement

Build strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders

Facilitate decisions regarding appropriate project methodology (e.g., waterfall, hybrid, or agile)

Ensure high quality in project management and delivery

Qualifications

At least 5 years of documented experience leading IT projects and programs

Strong delivery capability within complex transformation initiatives

Experience with technical projects and/or the energy sector

Experience with product and/or design development

Good understanding of established project management frameworks

Very good ability to manage senior stakeholders

Strong customer orientation

Independent and confident in driving work without micromanagement

Structured and professional communicator

High social competence with the ability to combine diplomacy, responsiveness, and clarity

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable (for one of the roles)

Experience or good understanding of SAP environments
