We are looking for a senior Java developer who wants to take a key role in the further development of a large-scale, microservices-based platform. The role involves hands-on development combined with technical ownership, architectural decisions, and mentoring of more junior colleagues. You will work in an agile product team responsible for the entire lifecycle – from design to operation.

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in system development in Java

• Deep experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem

• Solid experience with microservice architectures in production environments

• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes

• Event-driven architecture and messaging with Apache Kafka

• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or equivalent)

• SQL and relational databases at production scale (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

• Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure or GCP

• Automated testing at multiple levels (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)

• Experience in a technical leadership role – tech lead, architect or equivalent

• Good Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious

• System architecture and technical design at platform level

• Observability in distributed systems (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)

• NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)

• Design patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Circuit Breaker

• Secure coding, OAuth2/OIDC, and JWT

• Performance optimization and troubleshooting in complex environments

• Experience from banking, finance, telecom, or public sector
