Technician/System Administrator at FOI

The Total Defence Research Institute (FOI) is a government agency conducting world-leading research in defence and security to support Sweden's military and civilian defence. The research spans several areas, such as underwater, cyber defence, space, electronic warfare, sensor systems, civil defence, CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive substances), military platforms including weapons and protection, as well as security policy analyses. About the position

In the role of technician/system administrator in the Infrastructure section, you will work in several functional areas but primarily within the telecommunications area. You will collaborate with suppliers for troubleshooting and guidance during any operational disruptions. Additionally, user support and documentation are part of your daily work.

About the unit

You will be part of the IT Infrastructure unit, which belongs to the Research Support department.

Do you have the skill profile we need?

Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of experience working with first-line support in telecommunications, networks, servers, Windows at FOI
• Experience working in an MDM system
• Knowledge in troubleshooting and support
• Current post-secondary education in the IT field or other qualifications deemed equivalent by FOI
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
