Job Advertisement: Customer Support Agent with German
If you are motivated by providing excellent service and are fluent in German, there is now an opportunity for you to take on the role of an agent in BookBeat's support team. This is a perfect part-time job for students as you can work from home on a flexible schedule. We welcome your application!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Currently, BookBeat's support team consists of a mix of German, Swedish, Polish, Danish, and Finnish-speaking support agents who work together to provide the best possible service to BookBeat's users. BookBeat is growing and needs to expand the German part of the support team. The need is long-term, and shifts are primarily scheduled during weekdays, but weekends may also be relevant. The role is flexible as you can work from anywhere and is therefore not tied to an office. To be considered for the position, you must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
As a customer support agent, you will primarily respond to questions from German, Swedish, and English-speaking customers in our client's web-based support system. This may include questions about how the service works, technical issues, account settings, sales inquiries, etc. You will have ready-made email templates for the most common questions to assist you in your responses to customers.

JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming inquiries regarding content, account settings, and sales from the company's customers via email.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Is studying at a post-secondary level and has at least 1 year left of studies, or has another main occupation of at least 50%
- Can work at least 20 hours per week
- Has previous experience in a service-oriented role
- Has excellent knowledge of German, Swedish, and English, both spoken and written, as all external communication will occur in all these languages
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience in customer service and administrative work
- Excellent knowledge of Polish, Finnish, Danish, and/or Norwegian
To succeed in this role, you should have the following personal qualities:
As a person, you are interested in literature and skilled at expressing yourself in writing. You are curious to learn how things work and have a good sense of customer service and customer interaction. Since the work is independent, it also requires good problem-solving skills and the courage to take your own initiatives.

If you proceed in the process, the step before the customer interview is a written language test. You will receive the language test sent to you via email. It is not allowed to use translation tools or AI as aids when completing the language test.
