About the Unit
The Helicopter Wing's staff is part of the combat unit 3rd Air Wing. A4 is one of the departments responsible for logistics for the entire Helicopter Wing, which operates in Linköping, Luleå, Ronneby, and Kvarn. The department consists of both professional officers and civilians focused on logistics, supply management, technical services, transport services, medical care, environment, and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of logistics officer, you will support the Helicopter Wing's unit and functional managers in matters related to logistics and material services. A significant part of the job is also to be the project manager for logistics for the Air Days 2026. The Air Days 2026 are part of the celebration of the Air Force's 100th anniversary, where the Helicopter Wing will host the Air Days on August 22-23 at Malmen.
The tasks are often complex and require assessment of several possible working methods and solutions, where knowledge and experience are often crucial to finding the best solution. The work is largely independent.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current and relevant work experience in logistics within the Armed Forces
- Experience in staff work at wing or regiment level
- Experience in exercise and event planning
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
- Driver's license B (manual transmission)
Meritorious
- Degree from the Defense Logistics Program
- Knowledge of the Air Force's organization and operations
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' systems PRIO, LIFT, and VIDAR
- Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form

You are security-conscious, responsible, and goal-oriented in your work and appreciate working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. It is also important that you are adaptable and solution-oriented to be able to adjust based on changing needs or the organization's planning.

Employment type: Fixed-term part-time employment (50%). The position is civilian.

The Armed Forces' Helicopter Wing is a unit with both land and maritime operational focus that can operate in missions in Sweden and internationally.
Helicopter support is requested by many, for example for personnel, material, or medical transport, command, reconnaissance, or surveillance missions. The Helicopter Wing often participates in missions and exercises with other units but also as support to society in various crisis situations.
Operating throughout Sweden, the breadth of tasks and the size of the wing with over 950 employees provide variation in work and opportunities for personal development. The majority of the Helicopter Wing is located in Linköping (Malmen), where we also manage Malmen airport and Linköping garrison, with two large units in Luleå (Kallax) and Ronneby (Kallinge).
