About the Position

We are looking for a Controller for a government agency in Linköping! After an introduction from the unit manager for operational support and procurement, you will support the organization with operational purchasing work while also being responsible for a review of the purchasing process from need to invoice, delivery, and follow-up.

During your work, you will identify areas for improvement and provide concrete proposals for improvements, with a particular focus on supply security, financial follow-up, cost control, and forecasting. The proposals for change should be based on the agency's existing system structure and demonstrate how to maximize the system's utility and how both it and its application could potentially be complemented or reduced.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position of Controller is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on 2026-03-01 and is expected to last during a recruitment process at the agency, for a maximum of approximately 6 months.

Requirements for the Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Completed education in the relevant field
  • At least three (3) years of work experience as a controller
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • Knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., QlikView, Insikt, and Power BI)
  • Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.)
  • Experience with government accounting
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious for the Position:

  • Good insight and/or experience in purchasing/procurement work within government agencies
