Sävsjö municipality is a small municipality where there are great opportunities for growth. In this small municipality, there is a close connection between people – between you and your colleagues and between employees and managers. Together, we work to provide our residents with the best possible service, and in our teams, you will have the chance to take your place, develop, and contribute.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Children and Youth unit, we are divided into an investigation group and a placement group. The investigation group consists of five investigators and two reception secretaries. The placement group consists of three child handlers and three foster home secretaries. Each group is led by a senior social worker, and the entire unit is managed by a unit manager. As an investigator, you will handle cases according to the Social Services Act and LVU. You will explore together with the family what the child and the adults may need in terms of support. During an investigation, you will also collaborate with, for example, schools, healthcare, and open care.

With us, you will come to the small municipality with the heart in the right place! Here, we work in teams and focus on having a good working environment and employees who thrive and want to stay, while we genuinely care for our families. We are in an exciting and intense development phase where we invest a lot in providing early support for children and families. We are in the process of implementing the Signs of Safety approach in our daily work, and with that, we are developing how we work with children's networks and the municipality's own resources to help families at home. This means that we have a close and good collaboration with our open care.

Here in Children and Youth, you will work together with friendly colleagues where we value trust and accountability. We have an unpretentious and curious approach to both each other and our families. No questions are dumb here; we have high ceilings and learn from each other. We care about good sustainability for all of us and ensure that we have a positive community where no one is left out. If you want to work in a team where we all always do a little extra for ourselves, each other, and our families - then you have come to the right place.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Furthermore, it is a requirement for the position to hold a B driver's license, as travel is involved in the job.

If you have experience with the operational system Combine and the Signs of Safety approach, this is advantageous, as is previous experience in social services for children and youth.

As a person, you need to be flexible in order to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You can work independently but also collaborate with colleagues and other authorities and organizations. You also need to be able to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

In preparation for the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We kindly ask for no contact from media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.

Selection may occur on an ongoing basis. Welcome with your application!
