Technical Management Leader for M365
Do you want to help develop the digital society of the future? The IT operations at PTS are expanding with more employees due to new system implementations and new assignments. We are now looking for a technical management leader for M365 who wants to be part of an exciting transformation phase.
We work with what everyone takes for granted. The ability to communicate. With us, you will ensure that it works now and in the future. For everyone.
The department for business development currently consists of three IT units responsible for operations, management, system, business, and process development. We work with both in-house developed solutions and standard systems and are responsible for PTS's IT systems, websites, and e-services, as well as supporting the authority in streamlining and developing our working methods. This year, several new system implementations will take place while a new organization will be developed to take effect at the turn of the year 2026/27 when a merger with Digg occurs.
“I will be your manager, Katarina Almesten. I believe in clear goals, trust, and collaboration, and that the best solutions arise when different perspectives meet. My focus is to connect the needs of the business with technology that makes a real difference. Through structure, curiosity, and humility, I create conditions for both people and development work to succeed.”
About the role
As a technical management leader for M365, you will work both operationally and strategically to ensure a stable, secure, and purpose-driven M365 platform. The role includes ongoing follow-up of issues, dialogue with the business, planning and implementation of improvements, as well as management and training initiatives. You will continuously stay updated on new features and changes within M365 and proactively plan how these can be introduced and used in a structured way within the organization.
You have overall responsibility for the long-term management and development of the authority's M365 environment, where you develop and manage management plans and governance, ensure lifecycle management, access control, and compliance with regulations related to information security, GDPR, and archiving. The role also involves acting as an escalation point for more complex issues related to M365 and driving training, user support, and initiatives that contribute to increased digital maturity in the organization. You will manage and further develop solutions within SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
The work is done in close collaboration with application developers for M365, IT operations, information security coordinators, business representatives, and managers. The role primarily focuses on the M365 suite, but as the authority is in a period of change and development, the assignment may broaden over time. This may include responsibility for initiatives related to automation and AI-based functions within Microsoft's ecosystem.
About you
To thrive in this role, you are collaborative and attentive to others' competencies and perspectives, contributing to good cooperation by sharing your knowledge and respecting different working methods. You work in a structured manner with clear processes, plan your work well, and ensure that tasks are completed within given timeframes. At the same time, you are solution-oriented with good prioritization skills and a pragmatic approach that allows you to quickly find effective solutions in daily work. You remain stable under pressure and have the ability to focus on what is most important when much is happening simultaneously.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years of practical work experience in management of IT platforms or systems.
- At least 3 years of work experience in IT technical management, access control, and lifecycle management within M365.
- Very good understanding of Microsoft 365 as a platform and its main services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform at an overview level).
- Work experience in business-related work and collaboration between IT and business.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
It is also meritorious if you have:
- Practical work experience in vendor management and business development.
- Work experience in change management and project management, for example, in the implementation of new systems, major upgrades, or equivalent.
- Experience in information security, GDPR, and archiving requirements related to M365.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, ITIL, or change management.
- Work experience in the public sector, within government or municipality, as well as experience with LoU.
Our offer
We take life seriously. With us, you can have a life both at and outside of work. If you are well, we are well. Therefore, we offer competitive salaries, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work. We also have generous wellness benefits and two wellness hours every week.
In addition, you will receive favorable conditions for lunch, vacation, parental leave, pension, and in case of illness. Here you will work in modern activity-based premises at Hälsingegatan 38. As a government authority, we offer a safe and stable working environment where you can feel secure. We are creating the society of tomorrow and must stay at the forefront. With us, you will continuously grow with tasks.
Good to know
The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of six months. Placement in Stockholm with a start as soon as possible by agreement. Your job title will be management leader.
