Application Developer for M365

Do you want to help develop the digital society of the future? The IT operations at PTS are expanding with more employees due to new system implementations and new assignments. We are now looking for an application developer for M365 who wants to be part of an exciting transformation phase.

We work with what everyone takes for granted. The ability to communicate. With us, you will ensure that it works now and in the future. For everyone.

The Department for Business Development currently consists of three IT units responsible for operations, management, system, business, and process development. We work with both custom-developed solutions and standard systems and are responsible for PTS's IT systems, websites, and e-services, as well as supporting the authority in streamlining and developing our ways of working.

During the year, several new system implementations will take place while a new organization will be developed to come into effect at the turn of the year 2026/27 when a merger with Digg occurs. The new authority will mean a doubling of the total number of employees working with IT. In connection with this, both the role and organizational unit may change somewhat.

“I will be your manager, Katarina Almesten. I believe in clear goals, trust, and collaboration, and that the best solutions arise when different perspectives meet. My focus is to connect the needs of the business with technology that makes a real difference. Through structure, curiosity, and humility, I create conditions for both people and development work to succeed.”

About the Role

As an application developer for M365, you will work practically and technically to develop and manage business solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform. Your daily work includes requirement dialogues with the business, development and further development of solutions, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. You will create and manage applications, integrations, and automated flows, primarily within SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform, ensuring that the solutions are robust, user-friendly, and tailored to the needs of the business.

The role involves responsibility for the technical implementation of development initiatives related to the authority's M365 environment. You will develop solutions and adaptations in M365's various components, build integrations and automated flows both within the platform and with external systems, and ensure that all solutions comply with established architecture, guidelines, and security requirements. The work also includes managing information structures, permissions, and metadata in SharePoint, as well as documenting technical design and configurations. You will act as technical support to the business and contribute to translating business needs into sustainable technical solutions.

You will work closely with the technical management leader for M365, business representatives, and other IT functions. The role focuses on the technical components of the M365 platform, but as the authority is in a phase of extensive digital development, the assignment may broaden over time. This may include working with advanced automation, further development of integrations, or using Azure services related to M365.

About You

To thrive in this role, you are collaborative and receptive to others' skills and perspectives, contributing to good collaboration by sharing your knowledge and respecting different working methods. You work in a structured manner with clear processes, plan your work well, and ensure that tasks are completed within given timeframes. At the same time, you are solution-oriented with good prioritization skills and a pragmatic approach that allows you to quickly find effective solutions in your daily work. You remain stable under pressure and have the ability to focus on what is most important when many things are happening simultaneously.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3 years of experience in development within M365.
  • Very good knowledge of SharePoint online, MS Teams (platform level), Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), and other apps such as Forms, Planner, Co-pilot, etc.
  • Experience in building and managing integrations and automated flows.
  • Good ability to document technical solutions in a structured manner.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also meritorious if you have:

  • Experience with Azure services related to M365, such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps.
  • Experience with API integrations and data modeling.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in M365 or Power Platform.
  • Work experience in the public sector, within an authority or municipality, as well as experience with LoU.

Our Offer

We take life seriously. With us, you can have a life both at and outside work. If you feel good, we feel good. Therefore, we offer competitive salaries, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work. We also have generous wellness benefits and two wellness hours every week.

In addition, you will receive favorable conditions for lunch, vacation, parental leave, pension, and in case of illness. Here you will work in modern activity-based premises at Hälsingegatan 38. As a government agency, we offer a safe and stable work environment where you can feel secure. We are creating the society of tomorrow and must stay at the forefront. With us, you will continuously grow with tasks.

Good to Know

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of six months. Placement in Stockholm with a start as soon as possible by agreement. Your job title will be technical expert.

To ensure a fair and objective assessment of your skills, we ask you not to include a photo, personal identification number, or address in your CV. We have chosen not to request a cover letter as we instead use selection questions. This is to focus on your experience and skills, contributing to a more efficient and fair recruitment process. Tests and work samples will be included in the process. If you have protected information, please contact our HR specialist.
