Do you want to work with systems that truly make a difference while enjoying great freedom in your daily life? We are now looking for a software developer, either at the beginning of their career or with several years of experience, for our assignment with the Västra Götalandsregionen, a stable and highly appreciated client.
About the roleAs a software developer, you will work with the management and further development of an e-service platform where organizations can apply for grants for green projects and where researchers gain access to relevant data. You will also have the opportunity to work on brand new development and contribute to expanding our product offerings.
We work with modern tools and technologies, primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem, such as .NET 10, C#, SQL Server, and Blazor. You can choose your own development environment, such as Visual Studio or VS Code, and have access to AI support like Codex, Claude, and/or Gemini. Currently, we use Azure DevOps for CI/CD and issue management, with plans to potentially migrate to GitHub, where you will be involved in both technology choices and implementation.
Your tasks will include:
- Management and further development of the existing platform
- 3rd line support with troubleshooting, bug fixes, and improvements
- Close collaboration with the client's IT department and, if necessary, operational managers
- Contributing to Re:it's continued development, both technically, methodologically, and culturally
The role is tailored to your experience:
- As a junior, you will have the opportunity to grow in the role, take on increased responsibility over time, and receive support from experienced colleagues
- As a senior, you will have a significant mandate and the opportunity to influence technical choices, working methods, and architecture. You will act as a knowledge bearer in the team and work on new development in close dialogue with the client
The role is primarily remote-based. For those who do not live in Stockholm, this means traveling there a few times a year. There is also the possibility to work remotely from another location in Europe for extended periods by agreement.
Our candidateWe are looking for someone with a relevant academic background in areas such as computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
We also see that you:
- Have an interest in, or solid experience with .NET, C#, and SQL
- Speak and write Swedish fluently
- Are proactive, solution-oriented, and confident in taking responsibility
- Have a pragmatic approach to development with a focus on functional solutions that help the organization
- Enjoy dialogue with clients and see the value in understanding the organization's needs
For senior candidates, we would like you to:
- Have experience in system management in complex environments
- Be comfortable in client dialogue and able to take overall responsibility for delivery
- Want to be involved in building the company, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the team's development
For junior candidates, we value:
- Curiosity, engagement, and a willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in technology and perhaps personal projects alongside studies or work
With us, you will work in a company where trust, flexibility, and long-term customer relationships are at the center, and where both junior and senior developers have the opportunity to make a difference.
ApplicationWe collaborate with Consensus. Questions can be directed to Lena Ahlin at 070-374 34 94. Please register your application at www.consensus.nu (http://www.consensus.nu) as soon as possible, but no later than February 18.
