In the role of senior software developer within platform modules, you will work to ensure that central components such as map servers, DDS-based middleware, and data storage units provide reliable and predictable communication and storage in the systems. You will be involved from design and technical choices to deployment, further development, and management, focusing on robust solutions in real-time critical environments.

The work involves developing, adapting, and improving modules used by several other teams. You will work closely with the Linux environment and the network with requirements breakdown, implementation, troubleshooting, code review, and test automation, ensuring that the platform's components interact stably in complex, distributed systems.

The role involves close collaboration with product owners, Scrum Masters, integrators, testers, and other developers. Together, sustainable platform modules are created that provide a stable foundation for the applications, with a working method based on clear processes, systematic approaches, and continuous learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in software development in complex systems
• Has experience in development in a Linux environment
• Has knowledge in one or more of the following languages: Python, Go, Java, C++, Ada
• Is familiar with troubleshooting, code review, and structured quality work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Experience with GIS and mapping solutions, DDS or other middleware in distributed systems, real-time critical applications, cloud environments, and migration from on-prem to cloud, as well as IT security, is meritorious. Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments is also valuable. An engineering degree is desirable, but work experience can compensate for the lack of a formal degree.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
