IT Team Leader

As an IT Team Leader, you will play a central role behind the scenes, coordinating and developing IT delivery to our employees at Parks and Resorts, ensuring our guests have a smooth, safe, and memorable experience.

About the Role

In the role of IT Team Leader, you are responsible for coordinating and leading the daily IT operations in our four parks, in close collaboration with the respective park's IT support staff whom you will supervise. You will provide support in both prioritization and technical issues, contributing to a stable, proactive, and service-oriented IT environment.

You will work closely with the operations and play an important role in ensuring that issues are handled efficiently, that information is kept up to date, and that any challenges are identified and escalated in time. The role combines structure and planning with an operational, hands-on approach.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and coordinating the daily IT operations in all parks
  • Supporting IT support staff in technical questions, prioritizations, and ongoing issues
  • Assigning and coordinating new and existing cases in the IT function's case management system
  • Collaborating with key personnel within park operations
  • Identifying areas for improvement and documenting and escalating these further
  • Ensuring clear and proactive communication for high service and delivery

About You

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and enjoys a role where you can combine planning and structure with being operational and solution-oriented. You like to guide, support, and coach others and can easily adapt your communication to the recipient's technical level.

You have a natural sense of service and take great responsibility for ensuring collaboration works, both within the IT function and out in the parks. To thrive in this role, we believe you appreciate order and structure while being flexible when the day-to-day requires it.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • Experience in IT support or similar work
  • Good ability to communicate with people with varying technical knowledge
  • Enjoy guiding and supporting others, both in daily tasks and long-term
  • Be structured and value documentation and follow-up
  • Experience with cash systems and card payments (meritorious)

Practical Information About the Position

The position is a seasonal employment that runs from the establishment of the parks in spring to the de-establishment after Halloween in November.

Working hours vary throughout the season. During establishment and de-establishment, mainly office hours apply, while the position during the parks' opening hours is scheduled to follow the operational needs, including weekend work alongside colleagues.
