We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst for an assignment with a client's General Analytics team in Solna.

In this role, you will be a hands-on data expert responsible for transforming complex datasets into concrete and actionable business insights. You should also understand sales organizations and be able to ask the right questions to understand needs, i.e., not just perform tasks but also understand the context and deliver according to requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Data-driven business insights: Analyze large volumes of business and market data to identify trends and insights, and transform these into concrete recommendations for decision-makers.
• Reporting & visualization: Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports as well as dashboards on business performance. Build intuitive visualizations in Power BI to track key indicators and illustrate results for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) to understand business processes and requirements. Transform business needs into analytical questions and data requirements. Challenge assumptions with an analytical perspective to guide strategy and improve performance.
• Data preparation & modeling: Extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis from various sources. Develop and maintain robust data models and pipelines (using SQL, Databricks, etc.) to ensure data is ready and reliable for analysis and reporting.
• Advanced analysis & improvement: Use statistical methods and Python-based analysis to identify patterns or anomalies in customer and sales data. Lead data analysis efforts in projects and cross-functional initiatives, focusing on actionable insights. Continuously seek opportunities to improve analysis processes, tools, and data quality.
• Recommendations & follow-up: Proactively suggest new analytical methods or business opportunities based on data findings. Present insights and recommendations to management clearly and concisely, and work with teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Skills:

Extensive experience in data analysis: Several years of practical experience as a data analyst or in business intelligence. Experience with sales, marketing, or consumer data analysis is a plus.

Technical expertise: Advanced knowledge of SQL to manage and analyze large datasets. Strong programming skills in Python (for data analysis, modeling, automation) – knowledge of data libraries and notebooks is expected.

Business Intelligence tools: Expert in Power BI (or similar BI tools) to create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Ability to design effective visualizations and interactive reports that communicate data clearly.

Data modeling & Databricks: Solid experience in developing data models and data pipelines. Knowledge of Databricks or other cloud-based analytics platforms; comfortable with cloud data architecture and large datasets.

Analytical skills: Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling methods. Able to apply quantitative methods to extract insights (e.g., trend analysis, correlation, forecasting).

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or similar), or equivalent practical experience in data analysis/business intelligence.

Fluent English (written and spoken) and Swedish is required. It is a plus if you also speak Finnish.
