As the IT Security Manager, you will be part of the Information Security function, a team consisting of CISO, ISO, DSO, and data protection lawyers. Together, you will drive the work on patient data security through recurring measures such as risk reviews and internal audits, and improvement measures such as increasing automation and spreading the risk perspective.

Responsibilities

As the IT Security Manager, you have a central role in developing Praktikertjänst's group-wide IT security work. The assignment involves ensuring the protection of systems, data, and healthcare operations against both current and future cyber threats. The work combines strategic responsibility with operational implementation and encompasses everything from requirement specification and security audits to risk analyses, incident support, and proactive measures.

The role involves close collaboration with specialists in information security, law, and technical teams throughout the organization. The consolidated IT environment provides an important position in developing the security level for clients, networks, peripherals, and cloud, including Zero Trust architecture and IAM management. The work also includes monitoring threats, technical solutions, and regulatory requirements such as NIS2, as well as follow-up of external security providers and SOC.

In addition, it includes developing governance documents and processes, integrating cloud security into the security strategy, and educating the organization to strengthen security awareness.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and further develop the strategic and operational IT security work

• Drive proactive security work and be an advisory expert to the business

• Conduct audits, penetration tests, and security reviews

• Manage incidents and perform forensic analyses as needed

• Report risks and actions to the management, IT management, and CISO

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• At least 5 years of experience in operational IT security work

• Strong technical depth in IT security, networks, platforms, and architecture

• Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, security testing, and compliance work

• Good knowledge of relevant laws and standards such as GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001/27002

• Ability to communicate complex technical contexts pedagogically

• Good Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is a merit if you have experience in:

• Supplier management and contractual requirements related to security

• Microsoft environments: Azure, Entra ID, AD, MS Defender, Sentinel, SIEM, EDR/EPP

• Work in healthcare, public sector, or other regulated activities
