Are you an active person with a heart of gold who is passionate about helping others? We are now looking for a personal assistant for one of our female clients in Ronneby. The position is a part-time employment with the possibility of a schedule over the summer as the regular staff will be on vacation.

The client is a cheerful and positive 30-year-old girl with Angelman syndrome. She is very loving towards those who are close to her and brings her comfort. You will be greeted with hugs when you start your workday!

Angelman syndrome means severe developmental disability (at a very low level). Our client has no speech but understands simple commands and words. Ataxia and epilepsy are present. She can walk but has poor balance. For our client, structure, routines, and continuity are important factors for her to continue being her happy and harmonious self.

As an assistant to our client, you will perform most tasks that may be included in the role of a personal assistant. This includes helping with meals, leisure activities, transfers, personal hygiene, training, and communication. Assistance is provided around the clock with sleeping on-call in the client's home.

At the beginning of your employment, you will receive training in all aspects by following and being educated by an experienced assistant. The employment is covered by a collective agreement. Before starting the employment, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record. As an employer, we offer an attractive and developing workplace.
