We are now looking for two dental hygienists who want to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Olskroken, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental hygienist with us, you will be able to use your full competence.

The position includes, among other things:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Working with your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Outreach dental care at nursing homes may be included

The clinic is located at Olskrokstorget, a vibrant urban environment near the city center. There are very good communications to all parts of Gothenburg. We are 35 employees providing dental care to approximately 20,000 patients. Folktandvården Olskroken provides dental care for children, adolescents, and adults.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 6.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
