We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main tasks and responsibilities

Therefore, we need to expand with more dental nurses who share our vision that the dental nursing profession consists of more than just assistance.

At Folktandvården Magasinsgatan, we offer you a stimulating and developing job. Folktandvården Magasinsgatan is centrally located in Lidköping in modern premises. We have eight treatment rooms, and the clinic employs 5 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, and 10 dental nurses.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or adjustment treatments, etc.
• Working in sterilization and reception

Competence requirements and profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 6-7. Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen will check for any suspicion or criminal records before employment.
