We are now looking for a dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården SU/Mölndal, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception
• Administrative tasks such as: summons, list care, etc.

General dentistry at SU/Mölndal is a workplace where we care for each other and our patients. We are a development-oriented clinic striving to be the best workplace for you and your colleagues.

Together, we have a broad competence with, among others, dentists and dental hygienists specialized in dental physiology and elderly dental care.

The clinic is located at Mölndal Hospital and is co-located with the specialist clinics in Mölndal, with which we have a close collaboration. We have 4 treatment rooms and one treatment room at a nursing home.

The sterilization and reception areas are staffed by General Dentistry personnel who serve both general and specialist dental care.

We are 24 employees working at General Dentistry SU/Mölndal. We are looking for a dental nurse who is open, cheerful, and wants to provide good service to our patients while valuing good collaboration with colleagues.

The proximity to bus and tram stops makes it easy to reach central Gothenburg quickly.

Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 6-7.
