We are now looking for a dental nurse who enjoys working in a delegated manner.

We work in a delegated way with a positive spirit where teamwork and development of the business are natural elements.

It is important for us to stay updated; we find challenges and innovative thinking exciting.

Many patients want to come to us, and we are in the process of expanding our operations. Our team consists of dentists, dental nurses, health promoters, and administrators.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Sylte, the treatment panorama is very broad; here you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting during examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in sterilization and reception

Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial time. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly trained dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 6-7. Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
