We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Södra Ryd, we work in a positive spirit where teamwork and the development of the business are natural elements.

We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. Folktandvården Södra Ryd has 8 treatment rooms. Here, 5 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, and 10 dental nurses work together. In total, we are 17 employees.

We have been in our new premises for 1.5 years, together with Närhälsan and the family center. We have our own operational area but also shared spaces.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Work in the reception and sterilization
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, training, oral health advice, or acclimatization treatments

We are a clinic that welcomes students from dental and dental hygiene programs from various universities. Supervision/assistance of students may also be part of the job.

Qualifications and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen will conduct checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
