JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a rehabilitation assistant, you will be part of our dedicated team within the municipality's home healthcare. Together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses, you help patients achieve a better everyday life.

During the days, you will work with:

• guiding patients in transfers and daily activities (ADL)
• supporting home visits and training both independently and together with colleagues
• delivering and adapting aids to meet patients' needs
• assisting in group training and documenting in the journal system

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has training as a rehabilitation assistant, or is studying to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
• is passionate about helping people, especially the elderly, to improve their daily lives
• is solution-focused, flexible, and has an easy time collaborating.

Tjörn Municipality requests a criminal record extract in connection with this recruitment.

For certain professions within Tjörn Municipality, an extract from the criminal record and/or a security check is required. For all positions within the social services, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.

Visit the police's website to request an extract from the criminal record. This can be done digitally with e-identification or by filling out a form. Please note that processing time can take up to two weeks, so order the extract in good time.
