Junior Lab Engineer EMC

ABOUT THE POSITION

Husqvarna is currently seeking a new colleague for the Physical & Durability Specialist Lab within Shared R&D, a central expert organization that supports all product categories within the group. The department consists of 17 specialists and works cross-functionally to ensure robust, safe, and future-proof products. In our modern specialist lab, we continuously build and strengthen Husqvarna's internal competence in EMC and radio technology in close collaboration with the entire development organization.

In the role of Junior Lab Engineer in EMC, you will work broadly with product development teams across all of Husqvarna's product areas. You will contribute to ensuring that products meet both today's and tomorrow's requirements in EMC and radio performance. With support and guidance from senior EMC specialists, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role, develop your technical competence, and build a long-term career in a rapidly growing and high-tech field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

The role involves practical work with EMC testing and troubleshooting in our state-of-the-art labs. You will be a key player in developing new methods and routines to build up Husqvarna's internal EMC/Radio competence.

  • Plan and conduct EMC testing according to relevant standards.
  • Work practically in measurement chambers with emission, immunity, ESD, Surge, Burst, and high voltage testing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and simpler analyses alongside experienced colleagues and electronics designers.
  • Document test results and contribute to improvement measures.
  • Contribute to the establishment of Husqvarna's new internal EMC/Radio lab and method development.
  • Design antenna mounts.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a university degree in electronics, physics, telecommunications, or electrical engineering.
  • Has an interest in EMC, RF technology, measurement, or electronics.
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. This is required for internal and external collaborations.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience with hobby projects in electronics or measurement technology.
  • The ability to drive change and work with multiple interfaces.
