About the role of Electronics Engineer

As a consultant through Framtiden, you will work with one of Sweden's most technology-intensive operations within safety-critical flight systems. You will be part of an electronics team that develops and troubleshoots advanced electronics for robust and demanding environments where reliability is crucial.

The team works in areas such as digital electronics, power electronics, and FPGA development. You will be involved throughout the entire development chain, from requirements analysis and design to verification, testing, and documentation.

Your tasks will include, for example:

  • Design and schematic construction of circuit boards for demanding environments
  • Work with power electronics, communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet), microprocessors, and/or FPGA
  • Troubleshooting with oscilloscopes and test rigs
  • Simulation of power supply, interfaces, memory buses, crosstalk, and voltage drop
  • Verification through measurement and testing according to established test documents
  • Participation in EMI/EMC work
  • Documentation of design and development of analyses such as FMEA and Errata
  • Participation in technical reviews
In the role of Electronics Engineer, we are looking for someone who has:
  • At least 1 year of experience in electronics design or another relevant area
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, computer engineering, embedded systems, technical physics, or equivalent
  • Fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • A strong technical interest in electronics and hardware
  • The ability to work within security-classified operations (requirements for certain citizenship may apply)
It is meritorious if you have:
  • Experience with VHDL, FPGA, or microprocessors
  • Understanding of software related to hardware
  • Leadership experience from work, projects, or community life
