As a mechanical designer, you will be employed as a consultant at Avalon and work on product development assignments for one of our clients. If you enjoy variety, you will thrive as a consultant. You can work in different industries, with different products, materials, and client teams. In one assignment, you might work with plastic, and in the next with sheet metal or castings. You could work with large welded structures, critical societal solutions, or even assignments in the aerospace industry. Or do you want to dig deeper to specialize? In the role of mechanical designer, you will work with requirements management, specification, design, and documentation, as well as providing support to less experienced designers.

• Good communication skills and a humble attitude towards challenges.

• A degree in engineering at the bachelor's or master's level (or equivalent work experience as a mechanical designer).

• At least 4 years of work experience as a mechanical designer.

• Experience with Catia, Creo, or NX.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

• In this position, you will work with security-classified companies that conduct a security review. This also means that you need to have Swedish citizenship.
