About the position

In the role of Automation Engineer at Skruf Snus, you will work on improvement projects for both existing equipment and new installations. The improvements typically focus on automation, machine speed, quality, and loss reduction, and are carried out in collaboration with both production and other departments within the Technical organization. You will be part of a new group of electricians that is organizationally under Technical and will work closely with the factory's mechanics and technicians, as well as with the parent company on larger projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

•         Leading or participating in internal projects across the entire production flow.

•          Participating in global projects within your area of expertise.

•          Troubleshooting and addressing electrical issues in the machinery as needed.

•          Collaborating with others in your department to achieve strategically set goals.

•          Contributing to the continuous development of the machinery in your area.

•          Following applicable safety procedures and contributing to a safer workplace.

•          Ensuring that the 5S standard is always maintained within your areas of responsibility.

•          Working proactively to ensure electrical safety throughout the entire production flow.

•          Overall responsibility for the equipment's PLC system.

Your profile

As an Automation Engineer, you need to be driven, structured, and responsive. In this role, you will also work with large parts of the organization, which means you need to appreciate collaborating with different people and departments.

For the role of Automation Engineer, it is required that you:

•          Can easily communicate in Swedish and English in both written and spoken form.

•          Have documented experience in a similar role.

•          Have a positive attitude and be willing to work on continuous improvements.

•          Can work both independently and in a team without issues.

•          Have experience with electrical work in production facilities.

•          Have experience in project management.

•          For the position, at least a B authorization is required.

•          Education or experience in programming for Beckhoff, Siemens, Schneider PLC.

Desirable:

•          Experience working in the tobacco industry (minimum in the food industry)

•          Documented education in machine safety such as CSME, CECE, or equivalent.

•          Documented education in BAM.

•          Other electrical safety training.
