The role of Technical Property Manager with a focus on technical installations

In the role of Technical Property Manager, you will work to drive and implement maintenance projects in our properties, ranging from hospitals to agricultural high schools. You will participate in the procurement of framework contract contractors and continuously work with inspections of the properties to identify maintenance needs and develop long-term maintenance plans. The position also includes cost estimation work where you provide price information. You will also handle tenant adjustments and insurance matters related to damages. You will participate in building meetings and other customer meetings while driving construction and maintenance projects of varying scope. Most renovation and maintenance projects are carried out through the procurement of framework contract contractors.

Other parts of the role include working in our property database, Faciliate, and in our technical standards program (PTS). Handling questions regarding robustness related to technically advanced process systems is another task included in the position. You will work in the northern area, which includes Jönköping and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who has the ability to understand our role as a service operation in the organization, always with the customer's best interest in focus.

Your future workplace

Regional Properties aims to meet the Region's need for suitable premises with good standards and contribute to optimal resource utilization of premises while conducting effective property management in both the short and long term. The region owns the majority, approximately 608,000 square meters, of the properties in which operations are conducted, but also rents external premises of about 70,000 square meters. We are responsible for cost-effective and professional ownership and construction for the region's operations. Our tenants include the county's hospitals, health centers, public dental care, schools, etc. Property investments total approximately 300-500 million kronor per year. Regional Properties is ISO certified according to 14001.

Your profile

In the role of Technical Property Manager with a focus on technical installations, you need to have:

• technical university education in technical installations in properties or equivalent knowledge that we assess as comparable. For example, knowledge in HVAC, medical gases, water and wastewater treatment systems, complex ventilation systems, or similar.
• experience in similar tasks
• experience in project management
• experience in driving/implementing renovation projects
• good familiarity with working in digital systems and methods
• knowledge of the Office package
• knowledge of contract law
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• good management of budgeted funds
• A driver's license (B) is a requirement

Experience and knowledge that we consider desirable for this role include:

• BAS-P/U
• drawing skills in CAD
