You will be part of a development team that creates accessory products and personal protective equipment for demanding applications. Here, you will work in a technically strong environment with both classic design tasks and more complex mechatronic products. The role is suitable for you who want to work closely with the entire development chain and contribute from early ideas to industrialized products.

You will collaborate with mechanical engineers, test engineers, and other specialist functions in a daily environment characterized by variation, technical responsibility, and close contact with both internal and external parties.

• Develop concepts and drive prototype development for new and further developed products.
• Create 3D models in Catia V5 and produce drawing documentation with the right technical quality.
• Build and maintain BOM structures in PLM systems.
• Analyze outcome samples and follow up test results together with test engineers.
• Technically responsible for the approval of details and products within your projects.
• Plan and drive your work independently within both new development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with labs, calculations, factories, quality, and external suppliers and partners.
• Follow the products through the entire process from concept to finished industrialized solution.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on product development, mechanics, and strength.
• Documented design experience of injection-molded plastic components.
• Good knowledge of Catia V5.
• Good knowledge of any PDM/PLM system.
• Material knowledge within polymer materials.
• Basic knowledge of measurement technology and geometric assurance.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Basic knowledge of injection molding tools and manufacturing processes for polymer materials.
• Experience with the PLM system Teamcenter.
• Good experience in surface modeling in Catia V5.
• Good knowledge of dimensioning with geometric tolerances.
• Experience in cost estimation at the detail and product level.
• Experience in independently estimating timelines for detail and product development.
• Experience in technical project management.
• Experience in validation testing.

• Permanent employment at Avaron AB
• Pension plan (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB and 30% on salary above that)
• Wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year
