About the Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQA), you are responsible for ensuring that suppliers and their products, processes, and operations meet quality and environmental requirements, safety, standards, and regulations. The role spans the entire value chain – from early development phases to ongoing series production – with a focus on preventing quality deficiencies and building long-term sustainable supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities

• Supplier development and evaluation: Drive quality work towards new and existing suppliers, including risk assessments, audits, and status follow-ups in our operational systems.

• Qualification and quality assurance: Ensure that suppliers meet requirements through review of certificates, documentation, approval processes, and follow-up of quality-related goals.

• Deviation and complaint management: Lead the work on quality deviations, including root cause analyses, corrective actions, and follow-up of 8D reports.

• Internal and external collaboration: Act as quality support for purchasing, production, and development, and be the contact person for suppliers within the SQA area.

• Audits: Conduct audits at our suppliers according to relevant standards, including VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949.

• Continuous improvement: Follow up quality KPIs, initiate improvement activities, and contribute to the development of our suppliers.

Your Profile

We see that you have relevant post-secondary education in engineering, quality, or equivalent, as well as experience in quality assurance in the manufacturing industry. Experience with supplier audits, deviation management, and working with quality systems in the automotive industry is a prerequisite for success in this role.

You are analytical, structured, and enjoy driving cross-functional work. You communicate clearly in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. To succeed in this role, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and have the ability to build trusting relationships internally and with suppliers.
