About the position
In the role of mechanical designer, you will work with the design and development of mechanical parts for technically advanced products for demanding applications. The work encompasses the entire design chain, from concept and design to drawing production, tolerance investigations, and technical documentation. You will be part of a project team where multiple disciplines collaborate, and you will work closely with both the team leader and section manager. The role requires a good understanding of how technical requirements affect design, verification, and testing.
Examples of tasks:
- Mechanical design of components and systems
- Production of drawings and technical documentation
- Tolerance investigations and design reviews
- Collaboration with testing, integration, and system functions
- Project work in cross-functional teams
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in mechanics who works in a structured and methodical way. You take responsibility for your work and ensure that tasks are documented, completed, and handed over clearly.
We would like you to have:
- Master's, engineering, or bachelor's degree in mechanics, mechanical engineering, product development, or equivalent
- CAD experience, preferably Catia V5
- Understanding of how product requirements affect design, verification, and testing
- Ability to work independently but also in close collaboration with other disciplines
Experience from the defense, aerospace, or automotive industry, for example in design, testing, integration, or requirements specification, is an advantage.
