We are now looking for a senior production engineer who wants to be part of our dedicated team in Bankeryd and contribute to our continued development.

The role ensures increased competitiveness and efficiency by leading and implementing continuous improvements within the value stream. You act as a project leader or project participant in initiatives related to industrialization, product launches, and changes in manufacturing processes – in close collaboration with senior business developers, the technology organization, production, planning, purchasing, and more.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for the factory's part in planning/coordinating/leads acceptance tests in production for product-related projects.
• Be responsible for the factory's part in product-related projects to establish and prepare in-house manufactured materials.
• Be responsible for the factory's part in trials/tests in product-related projects.
• If necessary, carry out process and method development in connection with product-related projects.
• Initiate and establish PFMEA and control plans as needed, for example, when introducing new processes.
• Participate in the factory's part of product development projects and ensure preparation for in-house manufactured materials.
• Establish, manage, and improve routines, processes, and instructions related to product-related activities.
• Project lead assigned project initiatives within the department's area of responsibility.

Qualifications

• University or master's degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and industrialization in an industrial environment.
• Practical experience in process development, production preparation, and project management.
• Experience working in ERP systems (e.g., IFS, Monitor, SAP, or equivalent).
• Experience with PFMEA, LEAN/SIX SIGMA.
• Experience in machine or process optimization.
• Experience with CAPEX and machine investments is a merit.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and vision systems is a merit.
• Experience with CAD, measurement technology, and production planning is a merit.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
