What will your everyday life look like with us, what will you do?
· Monitor relevant standards, OIML documents, and STAFS and implement these in the operations.
· Conduct management reviews of the laboratory.
· Monthly reporting of recurring controls to SWEDAC.
· Responsible for the verification of both own and customer weight standards, including calibration certificates, maintaining records, and investigations of non-approved weight standards.
· Ensure that technicians work according to applicable methods.
· Maintain a quality system according to the standards ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 and be the contact person for Swedac.
· Contact person for RISE. Inform internally and externally regarding regulations and methods.
· Organize external calibration and competence comparisons.
· In collaboration with the technical leader, update and develop new measurement methods as needed.
· Analyze and improve work within the accredited operations and drive necessary changes to adapt methods and routines to market needs.
· Organize and participate in SWEDAC's inspections, as well as drive internal audits.
What do you need to succeed as a lab manager with us?
· Some knowledge of environmental and occupational health and safety legislation
· Some knowledge of quality and environmental standards
· Some knowledge of IT and information security
· Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
· Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.
· Very good understanding of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in project management and knowledge of regulations regarding weighing and calibration.
