Hoval's production facility in Hedenstorp has a strong reputation within the group, and with continued growth, the need for expertise is increasing. We are ramping up production for increased capacity and are recruiting a driven production technician to lead the production technical development of the production operations. At Hoval, safety and a good working environment are important issues and are key to your enjoyment at work. You will work alongside a dedicated and skilled team where you will take responsibility and contribute to the daily work together.

Your main goal is to maintain the right production quality, improve the production economy of the operations through the selection of the most suitable production tools, and continuously and methodically prevent workplace risks. Your main tasks include:

• Production technical development and improvement of workshop layout, production processes, production machines, and production tools.

• Lead, coordinate, and implement production technical rationalization and productivity projects, Lean work, and investments in project form.

• Carry out production technical work in teams and project form with other departments (Operations, R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Order, PM) such as: industrialization of new products, special orders, customer adaptations, and product improvements.

• Preventive safety work and measures for safety risks in production equipment and production machines within the production area, as well as contribute to systematic safety and workplace environment work.

• Development and management of risk analyses for machines and workplaces.

• Knowledge of PLC programming is an advantage.

You who are applying for the position have a post-secondary education with a relevant technical focus and a couple of years of work experience in production technical work. You have a good understanding of production economics, productivity, and production quality, as well as the commonly accepted methods and tools used in the field, such as Lean, HPS, work measurement, time and method studies, and capacity calculations. You are a natural leader who, through structure, drive, and initiative, makes things happen, both independently and in a group. You possess good communication skills where you collaborate and build relationships with internal and external parties. You have good IT skills and language skills in Swedish and English.

You will be part of the production technical team and report to the Production Manager.
