About us

Närhälsan Lerum rehabilitation clinic is centrally located in Lerum.

The clinic is adjacent to the health center with which we have a close collaboration. There are 19 employees at the clinic, of which 12 are physiotherapists. It is important for us to continuously work on improvements in both clinical work and the work environment, where we care for each other, thrive, and develop.

About the job

Your responsibilities include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The work also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is established.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some tasks can be performed remotely. Treatment of patients occurs both individually and in groups.

The work involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues share responsibility with the manager for the development of the operations in a continuously ongoing improvement process.

About you

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates.

If you have supervisor training and/or further training, courses, or knowledge in hand rehabilitation or mental health, that is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work effectively and in an organized manner based on the goals of the operations. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent. For you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work. Travel in the job may occur. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

About the recruitment process

The selection process consists of two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who will call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
