At our client, you will help drive the development towards future solutions. The business is undergoing a clear transformation with a focus on sustainability, where electrification, connected systems, and autonomous functions are central parts. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the entire machine: developing software, integrating systems, and testing solutions in real environments.

• Develop and program software for embedded systems in machines
• Participate in the entire development process – from requirements and design to implementation and testing
• Work closely with hardware and understand the interaction between software and machines
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify software in both lab and real environments
• Contribute to the development of electrified, connected, and future autonomous solutions
• Document solutions and share knowledge within the team

• Has completed or will complete a university degree in IT, computer engineering, or equivalent before August 2026
• Has excellent knowledge of C, C++, and Python
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
• Is communicative, curious, and enjoys working in teams

It is advantageous but not a requirement if you:

• Have an interest in embedded development and have preferably worked on hobby or side projects alongside your studies
• Have some experience or curiosity about the automotive industry, for example through studies, projects, or internships

To thrive in this role, we believe that you as a person are proactive, responsible, and structured. Since you will have daily contact with internal stakeholders in other teams, we also see that you are communicative and have an easy time building relationships.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.
