Do you want to kickstart your career as an Android developer and help develop digital interfaces used in real machines? As a junior Android developer with our client, you will work with HMI and develop everything from touch screens and infotainment systems to lighting and other digital user interfaces. You will be part of a team that focuses on user experience and intuitive design, where you will see the results of your work directly on the display. The team consists of developers, testers, and requirement setters, which gives you a lot of feedback and the opportunity to learn quickly. During demos and presentations, you will also get to showcase your work and see how it is used in practice.

• Develop Android applications for touch screens and digital display systems
• Work closely with both software and user interfaces to create clear and intuitive solutions
• Participate in the entire development process – from requirements and design to implementation and testing
• Receive continuous feedback through demos and collaboration with the team
• Grow in your role with opportunities to take on greater responsibility and further develop within Android and HMI development

• Have completed or will complete a degree in IT, computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent before August 2026
• Speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
• Are curious about user interfaces, user experience, and how people interact with machines

It is a merit but not a requirement if you:

• Have an interest in Android development and preferably experience from hobby projects or side projects

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.
