We are looking for part-time substitutes as personal assistants for a young woman with ALS in Jönköping – with the possibility of fixed weekend shifts and summer jobs.

About the assignment

Our client is a young woman living with ALS. She lives in a villa in Jönköping with her husband and values a life characterized by closeness, dignity, and making the most of everyday life.

She has previously lived an active life with activities such as climbing, traveling, and adventures. Even though her body now sets limits, her zest for life and strong will remain. She appreciates relationships and small treasures in everyday life and wants to continue living her life her way.

As a personal assistant, you will support her in daily life with personal care, medication, and practical tasks at home. She leads her own assistance, which requires you to be adaptable, attentive, and secure. You will be her extended arms and legs – and a respectful fellow human being.

We are looking for someone who

• is calm, stable, and has a warm presence.
• is attentive, flexible, and secure in themselves, and can easily adapt to others' needs and pace.
• contributes to a good atmosphere and understands the value of both activity and stillness.

Since the client is a young woman, we prefer female applicants to create the greatest possible security and comfort.

It is important that you are not allergic to pets, as there is a dog in the home.

Experience in care work or knowledge of PEG, ventilators, and cough machines is an advantage but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and how the collaboration works.

What we offer

We are looking for part-time substitutes who can work as needed, with the possibility of fixed weekend shifts and summer jobs. Working hours may vary and may also include awake night shifts.

You will receive an introduction and shadowing alongside an experienced colleague, as well as access to ongoing training and professional development. We value security, continuity, and comfort – both for assistants and clients.

Start date according to agreement.
