The Hematology Clinic is part of the specialized medicine area (VO) 1. The clinic is located on the 4th floor of the main building at Helsingborg Hospital. Patients come here to be examined and treated for diseases of the blood, bone marrow, or lymph nodes. These can include diseases such as lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia. At the clinic, several different professions work together, and our team currently consists of six nurses, two nursing assistants, and two medical secretaries. Our doctors work both at the clinic and on our hematology ward. Together, we strive to provide our patients with the best possible care!

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a medical secretary and are searching for someone who wants to become a part of our clinic! We offer you as a medical secretary a varied and developing job in a good work environment.

In the role of medical secretary, you will work with telephone service, quality assurance, medical record writing, appointment booking, referral management, 1177, and visit and diagnosis registration. Additionally, you will be responsible for mail handling. The work also includes managing standardized care processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applicants with a recognized education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY or 400p YH or equivalent medical secretary training. You should have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as in medical terminology. Knowledge of the medical record system Melior and PASiS, along with previous work experience as a medical secretary, is considered an advantage for the position.

You are service-oriented and have the ability to put our patients' needs at the center. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks in a structured manner, have a professional demeanor, and are meticulous and quality-conscious.
