The Department of Common Insurance Issues includes the operations of Insurance Affiliation and Customer Meetings as well as Income Base for Sickness Benefit. In the department's legal support operations, we handle reconsiderations, litigation, and departmental law. Within departmental law, we work with a wide range of legal issues. As a departmental lawyer, you will closely collaborate with your legal colleagues and the operations. We work in teams to ensure high quality and competence development.

Legal support, development, and collaboration
The work as a lawyer within an insurance department entails a special responsibility for the correct and uniform application of social insurance and other applicable legislation. Based on legal governance, you are responsible for monitoring legal developments within the insurance area where you operate. By being a close legal support in administrative law matters to the employees in the insurance area and to development activities, you contribute to good legal quality. You support managers and employees in legal matters and share your knowledge. You contribute to good collaboration both within the department and with other departments, including the agency's legal department.

As a lawyer, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness to work with us.

We are looking for someone who

• has a law degree (jur.kand. or equivalent)
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for results with high quality
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• communicates clearly, concisely, and structured in both speech and writing
• collaborates effectively to achieve common goals
• has experience in legal work, for example, in a government agency or court.

It is an advantage if you

• are a notary qualified
• have good knowledge of administrative law and social insurance law
• have good knowledge of public access and confidentiality, other agency law including data protection issues
• have knowledge of international law/EU legislation.
