We are now looking for an Accountant for our finance department in Bjuv at Bruks Siwertell AB, read more about the position below!

About the Position

Do you want to work in an international company in a developing and changing environment together with colleagues from various departments?

As an accountant at Bruks Siwertell AB, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting and financial closing while actively participating in the development of the finance function and improvement of routines and processes. You will be a central link between accounting, business control, and other parts of the organization to ensure accurate accounting, monitoring, and analysis. You will report to Finance Director Lars Melander but also work closely with other colleagues in the finance department as well as colleagues in the Operations and Service departments.

Responsibilities

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Ongoing accounting
  • Monitoring of payments and guarantees
  • Management of currency hedging, bank guarantees & letters of credit
  • Liquidity monitoring and liquidity forecasts
  • Analysis, booking, and monitoring of indirect costs
  • Monthly runs, reconciliations, and monthly closing/reporting
  • Reporting to the group mainly regarding the balance sheet
  • Reporting of statutory reports such as VAT and support regarding Intrastat
  • Budget & forecasts
  • Involvement in annual closing including contact with auditors

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance and about 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international company. You have worked in SAP S4/Hana and are accustomed to navigating effectively in the system. Additionally, you have excellent skills in Excel and use it as a natural tool in your daily analysis and reporting work. Knowledge of letters of credit, bank guarantees, and experience in currency management and hedging (F/X) is an advantage.

You are used to taking responsibility, and we believe you have a strong interest in working digitally and smartly with various systems. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written, and have no problem reading and understanding financial documentation and manuals in English.
