Accounting Consultant at Kristianstad University

Are you an accounting consultant curious to share your knowledge? Kristianstad University is now looking for an experienced accounting consultant who wants to contribute to and shape the future of the profession. You will work to ensure that our students become skilled professionals, covering everything from ongoing bookkeeping to annual accounts and tax returns. The students will also become well-versed in economic management by preparing budgets and financial calculations for important investment or credit decisions.

We are looking for someone who is creative, engaged, has good collaboration skills, and enjoys challenges in a flexible environment! Your Role with Us

You will be one of us at Kristianstad University. Currently, we have five different vocational training programs, with the Accounting Consultant program being the sixth starting this fall. You will teach courses in the program and mentor a group of students.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the courses included in your assignment, aiming to create a safe and developing learning environment. By translating your professional knowledge into practical, work-like educational moments where theory and practice interact, you stimulate students to learn and take responsibility.

You are a good role model and build trusting relationships with both students and the industry, where positive expectations permeate meetings and collaboration. The role includes collaborating with colleagues and the program's management team, participating in relevant networks, and maintaining contacts with the labor market. You keep yourself updated with current legislation and developments in your field and contribute to collegial work aimed at both pedagogical and professional development. Reflection, both individually and with colleagues, is a natural part of your work.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has a vocational education of at least 400 credits in Accounting Consulting or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. We want you to have knowledge and experience in areas such as business economics, accounting, personnel and payroll administration, taxation, and consulting. Knowledge and experience with digital tools, communication, data, and statistical processing are prerequisites for the job.

You are a person who is confident in your professional role and can clearly set boundaries, take responsibility, and make decisions. You are a good role model who embodies our values. You also have the ability to engage students in both theory and practice and create motivation and interest for their own learning. The role requires the ability to assess students' knowledge development. You have good collaboration and communication skills and are adept at creating, nurturing, and maintaining contacts.
