The Social Administration is looking for a structured and committed operations coordinator for a fixed-term project assignment.

About the workplace

The Social Administration in Perstorp Municipality is responsible for individual and family care as well as care and support. We work to improve the quality of life for the municipality's residents by offering support, services, and high-quality interventions.

As an operations coordinator, you will be an important part of the operational support team, consisting of a medically responsible nurse (MAS), a socially responsible coordinator (SAS), and a system administrator. Together, you will support the various operations of the Social Administration.

You will report directly to the social director, and your main assignment is to lead the process of transitioning to the new social services act. In this role, you will lead the transition work across departments but also to some extent across the municipality, where part of the work will also involve politics. You will convene and lead the steering group and drive the work forward in collaboration with the learning process SKR.

About the employment – fixed-term project employment

The position is a full-time project employment, starting by agreement. The employment is fixed-term until 270831, linked to the ongoing transition work and other development initiatives within the Social Administration.

About the role

You will work closely with the social director and, in addition to the responsibility for the transition work, have a broad assignment within operational development, project management, quality assurance, and support for the entire Social Administration. The role is primarily strategic but also operational – you will both lead processes and help implement and realize them in practice.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the transition to the new social services act both across departments and municipality-wide.
  • Support the social director in organizational and administrative matters.
  • Participate in development and change work throughout the administration but with a focus on individual and family care.
  • Work with strategic planning in line with the municipality's goals and national guidelines.
  • Implement new working models, welfare technology, and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor current trends, legislation, and new methods both nationally and internationally.
  • Follow up and evaluate the results and quality of the operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose concrete measures.
  • Further develop and ensure the quality of the operational system journal digital and its use.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Higher education in social work or other relevant education equivalent to 180 credits.
  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Experience leading transition projects.
  • Good knowledge of the new social services act and its intentions.
  • Good knowledge in the area of individual and family care.

Meritorious

  • Good knowledge of the operational systems Lifecare and journal digital.
  • Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
