Our Offer

As a tax lawyer specializing in VAT at Forvis Mazars, you will play a central role in developing and managing our tax assignments. You will primarily work with:

• Value Added Tax (VAT) for businesses and organizations
• Qualified advice and project management in VAT matters
• Development of client relationships and business opportunities
• Guidance and development of junior colleagues

In your role, you will be responsible for independently managing client assignments related to VAT, leading projects, ensuring quality, staffing, and efficiency in deliveries, building and developing both new and existing client relationships, contributing to business development and upselling, and serving as a role model and mentor for younger colleagues.

We Want to Get to Know You!

We are looking for someone who is materially skilled in VAT and wants to combine their expertise with being out in the market and creating business. To thrive in this role, you are driven, business-minded, and used to working independently while also appreciating teamwork. We hope that you have already taken steps to build your own client business and have a strong desire to continue developing this with us.

• At least 4 years of experience in material tax work, of which at least 2 years as a consultant, with a particular focus on VAT
• Law degree or other relevant legal education
• Documented ability to manage your own assignments and build client relationships
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
• Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are confident in your profession, act with integrity, and demonstrate good judgment even in challenging situations. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and are flexible and adaptable. You are a clear and attentive communicator, both internally and externally.
