We are now looking for a Sales and Business Developer
We are now looking for a Sales and Business Developer who wants to join us on our continued journey to develop Germa. In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.
Your Responsibilities
As a Sales and Business Developer at Germa, you play a key role in the company's continued growth. You work both strategically and operationally, primarily with business development but also with sales in close collaboration with your immediate manager and product developers. You are responsible for developing new customers, distribution channels, and business areas, as well as sales to existing customers and distributors. You follow up and report on the strategic business development plan, sales, and key figures to the sales manager.
You work with customer quotes, customer relationships, and customer visits, and conduct product training and workshops. You represent Germa at trade fairs and networking events and are involved in working with sales budgets, sales/business development strategies, pricing strategies, and price lists. You also participate in product development teams, as well as the creation of user manuals and marketing documentation and activities in collaboration with internal functions.
The position involves international travel and approximately 40–60 overnight stays per year as needed.
Your Background/Your Qualities
We are looking for someone who preferably has documented experience in business development and sales directly to customers and through distributors, ideally 3–5 years, and who thrives in an independent role with significant responsibility. You are accustomed to working in smaller companies where teamwork is essential, and the daily tasks are varied. You are a team player who works selflessly, is self-driven, and has analytical and strategic thinking. You are used to planning, executing, and evaluating your work and making decisions based on consequence analysis. You have post-secondary education in a relevant field or have acquired equivalent experience through your professional life.
You have good technical understanding and interest, as well as the ability to create good working and business relationships at various organizational levels. You represent Germa's values professionally and communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Experience in sales work or other work within the defense sector, medical technology, civil preparedness, and public procurement is an advantage. Additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish are also advantageous.
