Welcome to the HR Department at the Labor Market and Social Services Administration!

We are an HR department with about 30 colleagues working to provide qualified HR support to the administration's managers. With a focus on the workplace of the future, our top priority is to ensure the right skills and create sustainable solutions for working life.

You will be placed in the HR department and be part of the unit for skills supply and skills development.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a student assistant to conduct a structured mapping of the administration's existing training programs. The assignment is part of the development work to create skills development programs for managers and employees.

As a student assistant, you will:

  • collect information about training from various sources, such as intranet, documentation, HR systems, and contact persons,
  • structure the information according to predetermined categories developed in the project based on identified areas for development within the administration's skills development,
  • complete missing information by contacting relevant people in the organization,
  • compile the material into a common template (for example, Excel),
  • perform a simpler analysis and visualization of the results, and
  • produce a short report describing the method, results, and reflections, including an oral presentation at the end of the assignment.

As a student assistant in Malmö City, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge alongside your studies with assignments within our operations. Qualifications

The student assistant program is aimed at those who have completed at least 60 higher education credits and are still studying throughout the assignment period.

You are studying human resources, public administration, sociology, pedagogy, behavioral science, or a related field. It is advantageous if you have experience in information gathering, administrative work, or have taken courses in workplace learning or skills development. It is desirable that you are proficient in Excel or similar tools.

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and analytical. You enjoy working independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to create structure in complex information. You are also communicative and comfortable contacting people in the organization when additional information is needed.

You will be organized in the HR department and be part of the unit for skills supply and skills development. We are a dedicated team working to investigate and develop the work with skills supply and skills development to ensure the administration's long-term skills supply by being an attractive employer and developing and retaining our employees.

Information about the Position

Employment Type: Temporary

Scope: Hourly paid. The assignment comprises 120 hours over approximately 12 weeks.

Working Hours: As a student assistant, you will work about 10-15 hours a week during the day. The working hours are largely flexible. You will agree with your supervisor on working hours that can be combined with your studies.
