We are now looking for a substitute teacher for the middle school at Nyland School, a school with about 130 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as after-school activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting teaching - primarily in middle school, but some teaching in lower grades may occur.
• Being responsible for leadership and stimulation in the classroom.
• Creating structure, clarity, and good relationships with the students.
• Having a clear focus on students' knowledge development in accordance with the curriculum.
• Working systematically with quality improvements in teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications for grades 4-6. We prefer that you have at least two subjects in combination.

Furthermore, we would like:

• You have experience in assessment work and grading.
• You can work both independently and in teams.
• You possess digital competence.
• You have the ability to see students' needs and, in consultation with other staff, take appropriate measures to support their learning and goal fulfillment.
• You value collaboration, both internally and externally with different professional groups to create the best possible conditions for students' development.

OTHER

The substitute position can start at short notice and lasts for a limited period, at most until the end of the school year (2026-06-11). Exact start and end dates have not yet been established. More information will be provided during the interview.
