Ramsele School

Ramsele School is a F-9 school located in central Ramsele, close to ski trails, a ski slope, a riding school, an ice hockey hall, and football fields. In the building of Ramsele School, there is a preschool, a pre-school class, grades 1–9, and after-school care in close proximity to each other, and about 20 teachers work from pre-school class to grade 9.

At Ramsele School and after-school care, we work to give students responsibility and ownership of their schooling/leisure time; students work in the student council/after-school council and decide on activities that are important to them. At Ramsele School and after-school care, student health is everyone's responsibility, and we work according to the Ehm model.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a resource, you will be responsible for creating good conditions/relationships for learning during the students' school day and time at after-school care. You will primarily work with grades 4-6.

You will work to develop students' abilities, both academically and socially, in accordance with current governing documents.

You will have close collaboration with teachers/after-school teachers and with guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education in child care. It is an advantage if you have a resource teacher education or similar, or are a licensed after-school teacher.

We would like you to be well acquainted with the governing documents of schools and after-school care and have the ability to translate them into practice in a meaningful and clear way.

It is important that you are engaged and focus on the student's development and learning. You are attentive to the context you are in, demonstrate good leadership qualities, and have strong communication skills.

In your role, collaboration with other colleagues as well as with students and guardians is of great importance.
