About the role

As a teacher in Swedish as a second language at IES Sundsvall, you will work closely with students in smaller groups primarily in grades 4-6, focusing on language development and individual adaptation. You will be an important part of our team that helps students strengthen their Swedish, both linguistically and academically.

Teaching is primarily conducted in Swedish, but since we are an international school, good knowledge of English is also crucial.

Mentorship is also included in the role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Swedish as a second language.
• Has a passion for language development and helping students achieve their goals.
• Is an engaged and enthusiastic educator with deep subject knowledge.
• Is positive, solution-oriented, and a team player who values collaboration and engagement.
• Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
