REGION SKÅNE 18 days left
to apply for the job
Make a Difference. Every Day.
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) Lund/Eslöv has over 100 employees and serves children and adolescents as well as their parents in eight municipalities. The area has three outpatient clinics, one intermediate care clinic, and one clinic specializing in deaf psychiatry. Various professional categories work at the clinics; psychologists, nurses, doctors, social workers, occupational therapists, special educators, unit managers, and medical secretaries. The clinics are characterized by broad child and adolescent psychiatric competence with a strong focus on developmental issues and interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as close cooperation with different professional groups.
At the clinics, assessments, treatments, and neuropsychiatric investigations are conducted. We work with a stepwise built care process based on our standardized care processes, which allows interventions to start quickly and provides a clear routine for evaluation and care planning.
Bup in Skåne is now an accredited university hospital unit, which means we have documented close collaboration with the medical faculty at Lund University regarding both research and education.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a nurse or specialist nurse for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic 1 in Lund.
We offer psychological and medical treatment for children and adolescents with moderate to severe psychiatric difficulties. At the clinic, we work interdisciplinary, and once a week we hold treatment conferences with all professional categories represented, where cases are discussed to further assist the patient/family.
The work as a nurse/specialist nurse with us primarily consists of medication follow-up and somatic checks, both independently and in collaboration with doctors. The tasks also include telephone counseling and psychoeducation, which can be both individual and group-based. We collaborate closely with schools and municipalities, and today most of these contacts occur digitally. Initially, you as a nurse will have close contact with your patients and their relatives, and then they will be followed regularly over time until they turn 18. You will schedule your own patients and be independent in your daily work. Some supportive conversations may also occur both with patients and with parents.
We offer you a varied job with a good collaborative climate, where employees show great care for patients and relatives but also for each other.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry or child and adolescent care, and who has the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. It is also a requirement for the position to have language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We also see it as advantageous if you have previously worked in psychiatric outpatient care or have other psychiatric experience.
You who apply for a job with us should of course be genuinely interested in the patient group and psychiatry. We welcome both newly graduated nurses and those with a bit more professional experience.
We value your good ability to collaborate and that you enjoy working both independently and together with others. You are engaged, secure in your professional role, and communicative. For the work to function well, you need to be able to plan and structure your tasks independently, while also maintaining a close dialogue and good cooperation with colleagues. As a person, you show curiosity and humility towards each family’s unique situation, conditions, and needs.
In this recruitment, we work with ongoing selection. We warmly welcome your application today!
Extracts from suspicion and criminal records will be made before any employment.
