Registered Nurse for Home Healthcare in Malmö

We are now looking for a registered nurse for our home healthcare within the Disability Support Administration in Malmö. Here, you work closely with the patient in their home environment and play an important role in creating safety, continuity, and quality in care.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us:

  • You are the patient-responsible nurse working particularly with patients who have personal assistance in their home environment in Malmö. You work independently to assess, plan, and implement medical and nursing-related interventions.
  • You have a person-centered approach where the patient, their relatives, and the team are in focus. You are part of a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants.
  • You guide and delegate to care staff/assistants to ensure quality in daily care.
  • You are an important link in the care chain collaborating with primary care, inpatient care, and other healthcare providers.
  • You work daytime hours from 07:00 to 15:45 with flexibility. Weekend duty is included every sixth weekend.
  • You receive an individually tailored introduction and shadowing based on your competence, experience, and needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a valid Swedish nursing license.
  • Has a B driver's license for manual transmission.
  • Can cycle and sees it as a natural part of the workday.
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Has a strong interest in working with people, shows interest and understanding, fits into groups, and creates team spirit. Listens and creates dialogue.

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience working in municipal healthcare.
  • Have worked with our target group, individuals with disabilities.
  • Have a specialist education in a relevant area (e.g., district nursing, psychiatry, geriatrics, etc.).
  • Are familiar with the documentation system Procapita.
