Båstad Municipality has a special accommodation with respite care in Östra Karup. Åsliden has 30 permanent places and 5 places for respite care and is divided into 3 departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an employee, you will provide support and care in everyday life based on the individual’s needs, abilities, and wishes as outlined in the implementation plan. This includes assistance and support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meal situations. We place great importance on creating a meaningful everyday life for the individual and providing security for the care recipients, where responsible case management is of great importance. The daily social content is something we actively work on, and we offer daily activities either individually or collectively.

You will collaborate not only with your colleagues at Åsliden but also with other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Delegated health and medical care tasks occur in the form of medication management and prescriptions from rehabilitation. Daily work includes ongoing documentation, and you will actively participate in systematic quality work.

Working hours are day/evening on weekdays and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and we prefer that you have previous experience in similar tasks/fields.

You always focus on the individual needs of the care recipients. As a person, you are positive, engaged, and unpretentious, with a professional attitude towards care recipients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are flexible, meticulous, and attentive.

We work both in groups and independently, so it is important that you function in both contexts and have the ability to take your own initiatives. You have a solution-focused approach and, as a colleague, you want to contribute to creating a good work environment with dialogue and participation.

You are aware of the purpose and importance of documentation, reporting, planning, implementation of measures, follow-up, and evaluation against the set goals. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, and good computer skills are needed as all documentation is managed with the help of IT support. You can receive delegations of health and medical care measures.
